June 17, 2009 - The City Hall Rotunda was the site for the combined luncheon with San Jose City Mayor Chuck Reed. BOMA, NAIOP, and CREW members were informed by the Mayor and city officials on the progress that the City Hall is making in attracting green companies. The Mayor used his mayoral powers and proclaimed no negativity during the lunch forum.He only had to exercise his authority only once. The lunch forum was a success as all of the guests had a chance to ask questions.

This July, over the course of 2 days, Holly Simon of Air Maze Services will be joining thousands of others in San Francisco to walk 39 miles in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It is estimated that currently there are three million women living with breast cancer and one third of them don't even know it. Even more startling, breast cancer kills approximately one woman every 13 minutes, robbing us of our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and our best friends.

As part of this commitment, Air Maze Services has agreed to support Holly in raising $1800 for the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer Crusade, but we are striving for $3,000.

Why is this important to you Holly?

For each step i take and for every time i think i cant possibly go further, I'll be humbled... recognizing the small sacrifice i will be taking on behalf of millions everywhere. I'll think of those whom have lost the battle and of those who fight fearlessly every day. So if you know or have known anyone with cancer, i walk for them. If you have or had cancer, i walk for you and because i have been so blessed in my life and want to give back in some small way, i walk for me.
